- Android Mini Collectible Figures
Google’s Android mobile platform has been in use in commercial phones since 2008, and has fast become a popular system for mobile web users and app developers. It also seems, dare I say, to have grown into the role of the long-fabled iPhone Killer. With the new Droid from Verizon and the latest Nexus One [...]

- Dungeons & Dragons on Microsoft Surface
This stuff is total nerd pr0n for the D&D community. Not only does this make stunning use of new technology, but it evolves the whole “pen and paper” gameplay quality of standard roleplaying games and creates a complete digital facsimile of the entire mechanic, from rolling the dice to marking stats on a character sheet. [...]

- Sleep in a Dead Tauntaun
In the sub-zero wasteland of the planet Hoth, only the strong survive… and of course those lucky Jedi protected by the thick skin of a Tauntaun.
Relive the greatest movie in Star Wars history by pretend-slaughtering your own Tauntaun and crawling inside of its steaming remains! This high-quality sleeping bag has been constructed to look just [...]

- Discmakers: Top 10 Articles of 2009
I regularly get email and snail mail from Discmakers. I like their company, their business, and some of what they do really reminds me of their partnership with CDBaby.
This popped up in my email this morning and recaps some of the great content that I’ve read over the course of the year. Check out the [...]- December 1st, 2009
- Soundcloud: Audio Soul Project (Mazi) - DJ set for 5 Magazine New Mix Monday
A wonderful house set by Chicago producer and DJ, Mazi Namvar (Audio Soul Project). This mix takes us through some excellent forms of chill, traditional, and deep house.
I first heard some of Audio Soul Project’s original works via FOEM.info’s remix contest. I was excited to find him on SoundCloud posting DJ sets, remixes and original [...]- July 7th, 2009
- Grooveshark 7/7/2009 - Downtempo
Downtempo, chill, and even trip-hop styled tunes that I’ve been listening to will appear in these playlists from Grooveshark. This has taken the place of my love for the now defunct Seeqpod (RIP).

- For Your Consideration
Eleven months ago we received the horrific news that Heath Ledger had passed away. It was sad, unexpected, and most of all, incredibly shocking. Having been so young and taken away before reaching his prime, his death was seen as a tragic loss. His family, friends, and fans were all distraught over his

- Sean’s Haps
Listening to an unreleased song of mine, browsing through some of the websites of record labels I enjoy (Om Records, for one), and thinking about the drudgery of my current chosen IT profession– I have decided that I have some immediate things to take care of in order to speed up my musical journey.
Here’s what’s [...]- July 4th, 2008
- Back from the Grave
Welcome to version X.0 of SNN Core. This is our nth revival, and hopefully this time we’re here to stay. We suffered an uber-crash with our previous hosting provider which resulted in the loss of three years worth of posts and data (mainly my own fault for not regularly backing up the databases and storing [...]

- Hiatus - Upcoming Changes
It should be no secret to our regular fanbase (hahaha!) that we’ve been on a break from posting here. That is explained by our lack of motivation and time. Sean and I are both busy busy bodies (what with girlfriends and World of Warcraft) and we’ve ramped down on our webdev projects lately. We’re both [...]

- New G.I. Joe Trailer
Update: Here is a new version of the trailer sans French subtitles from MySpace Movies. Personally, I don’t think it’s nearly as bad looking as the critics are making it out to be!
Here is the latest trailer for the upcoming Stephen Sommers-directed G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra. It’s subtitled in French, but that doesn’t impede [...]- April 28th, 2009

- Pearl Jam Commemorative “Ten” Re-release
Pearl Jam was one of the progenitors of the grunge music era, and the 1991 album Ten was the pushpin that put them on the map. Alongside contemporaries such as Nirvana and Soundgarden, Pearl Jam is essentially the last remaining ’90’s grunge artist with the longevity to carry them into the 21st century. To commemorate their historic career the band will be releasing four different special editions of the Ten album.
